About OpenBook & Editorial Policy
Who we are
OpenBook ("we") operates openbookfx.com, an independent market information portal covering US and global equities, forex and crypto. We publish market news briefings, market data, algorithmic educational trade ideas and broker comparison tools.
OpenBook is not a broker, does not hold client money, does not execute trades and is not registered as an investment adviser. OpenBook is not affiliated with or an official channel of any broker listed on this site.
How our content is produced
- News briefings. Our system collects headlines from the public RSS feeds of established publishers and uses automated tools (including AI language models) to summarize them in plain English. The original source is named on every briefing. Briefings are monitored by our editor, and we correct or remove content when we find errors.
- Educational trade ideas (“signals”). Ideas are generated by a rules-based algorithm from public market data (for example, daily momentum). They are published for educational purposes to illustrate how a setup can be structured with a reference entry, a stop level and a target level. They are not recommendations to buy or sell, and they do not take into account your objectives, financial situation or needs.
- Track record. Idea statistics (win rate, average R) are calculated only from real closed outcomes and are shown only once a minimum sample exists. We do not publish simulated or invented performance figures. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results.
- Market data. Quotes come from third-party data providers and may be delayed, incomplete or inaccurate.
Independence and affiliate disclosure
OpenBook may receive compensation from some brokers listed. This does not affect our independent comparison methodology.
Every broker is described using the same fields (regulation, markets, minimum deposit, an editorial rating, pros and cons). Commercial relationships are always labelled (“Affiliate”), and affiliate links are marked as sponsored. OpenBook is not affiliated with or an official channel of any broker listed.
Broker availability depends on your country of residence. Some brokers listed do not accept US residents, and CFDs are not available to retail clients in the United States. Always check that a broker is licensed to serve you (for US forex: CFTC-registered and an NFA member) before opening an account.
We do not promote binary options, funded or “prop” trading accounts, or any product that promises a fixed or guaranteed return. Read our full Affiliate Disclosure.
No investment advice
Everything on OpenBook, including news, trade ideas, emails, guides and the Pro Hub, is general market information and educational content. It is not investment, financial, tax or legal advice, and it is not a personal recommendation. You are solely responsible for your own decisions. Consider seeking advice from a licensed professional.
